Job summary

Seacoast Bank in Jacksonville, FL seeks an SBA Banker II to lead business development with a primary focus on SBA lending and deposit growth. You will solicit and service clients for SBA 7a, 504 and USDA loans while managing a growing portfolio and building new relationships.

The role requires deep knowledge of SBA programs, strong credit judgment, and the ability to work with internal partners to structure loans and close transactions in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years SBA experience preferred.
• 7+ years in business development/financial services preferred.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• PC proficiency with MS Office and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development with focus on SBA lending and deposit growth.
• Aggressively solicit and service prospective and current clients for SBA 7a, 504 and USDA loans.
• Maintain and expand COI base; build partnerships with internal lines of business.
• Coordinate SBA loan packaging, submission, and closing activities with attorneys and staff.
• Ensure understanding of SBA programs, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior SBA lenders and balance customer needs with bank risk.
