Job summary

Seacoast Bank in the Orlando area seeks an SBA Banker II to lead business development with a focus on SBA lending and deposit growth, serving existing clients and generating new accounts. The role emphasizes SBA/USDA loan production and managing a growing commercial loan portfolio.

The candidate will perform credit analysis, loan structuring, and collaborate across teams to ensure compliant funding and treasury solutions, while mentoring junior lenders and upholding ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in a financial related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of directly related SBA experience preferred.
• 7+ years in business development and/or financial services experience required.
• Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• PC Proficiency in Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone devices as well as Microsoft Office Suite software.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development in SBA lending and deposits growth.
• Aggressively solicit and service prospective and current clients.
• Package SBA loans (7a, 504, USDA) and manage loan closings.
• Maintain and expand COI base through networking and referrals.
• Coordinate with internal partners for lending and treasury solutions.
• Mentor junior SBA lenders and comply with regulations.
