Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Leo Embedded Platform. You will develop embedded software for satellite systems, write drivers, and implement security features while collaborating with cross-functional teams for board bring-up and integration.

The role requires 3+ years of professional software experience and a BS in CS/engineering. This position is based in Sunnyvale, CA, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

Develop embedded software in Rust, C, C++, or other modern languages.
Write device drivers and system applications for satellite systems and interfaces like I2C, SPI, CAN.
Develop security features for satellite systems.
Collaborate with software and hardware teams for board bring-up and integration.
