Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an experienced embedded software leader to design and implement software for Leo Customer Terminal platforms. You will guide a team of engineers across development, testing, and deployment in a fast-paced environment, focusing on embedded Linux, Rust, and C/C++ in a secure compute setting.

Competenze

• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi‑tier web services experience.
• 1+ years of developing large-scale, multi‑tiered distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Mansioni

• Development and testing with embedded Linux.
• Develop embedded software functions for Customer Terminal devices within the Project Leo system.
• Developing embedded software utilizing Rust, C++, C.
• Participate in all phases of SDLC: requirements, design, coding, test, deployment and production system.
• Development of software in a secure compute environment.
• State machine design and analysis.
• Support Customer Terminal deployments operations and debugging on production systems.
• Technical writing of design specifications.
