Amazon Leo is seeking an embedded software engineer to drive design, development, and operation of functions across satellite life cycle from launch to de-orbit. You will implement in C/C++, Rust, or similar, and interface with hardware via I2C/I3C/SPI and Ethernet in embedded Linux/RTOS environments.

The role emphasizes high reliability, collaboration with hardware teams, and participation in the Satellite Communication Systems Payload development, with export control eligibility for U.S.

Competenze

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design/architecture of complex systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years designing and developing multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.

Mansioni

• Own embedded software functions from design to test in embedded Linux/RTOS.
• Develop device communication using I2C, I3C, SPI, RS-422/RS-485, Ethernet, etc.
• Collaborate with hardware teams for verification and integration.
• Follow high-reliability software practices for satellite systems.
• Contribute to Satellite Communications Systems Payload development.
