Amazon Leo's Linux Embedded Platform team in Redmond builds the embedded software foundation for satellite systems. The Software Development Engineer will develop embedded software for satellite systems and device interfaces using Rust, C, or C++ and contribute to board bring-up and integration.

You will collaborate with other software and hardware teams to deliver secure, reliable, and low-cost satellite solutions as part of the Amazon Kuiper program.

Competenze

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Mansioni

• Develop embedded software in Rust, C, C++, or other modern languages.
• Write device drivers and system applications for satellite systems and interfaces like I2C, SPI, CAN.
• Develop security features for satellite systems.
• Work with software and hardware teams to support board bring-up and integration.
