Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond is seeking a software engineer to contribute across the full development lifecycle for flight-critical embedded systems. You will work on embedded software in C/C++/Rust in a real-time OS, tackling satellite constellation software design and interactions with hardware interfaces.
Collaboration with hardware teams for bring-up and testing is required, with leadership experience and mentoring responsibilities to guide engineering efforts.
Competenze
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
Mansioni
- Develop embedded software in C, C++, Rust in a real-time operating system environment.
- Architect, design, and implement software for satellite constellation.
- Write software to interact with devices/electronics using I2C, SPI, RS-422, RS-485, Ethernet, etc. communications.
- Write device drivers and system applications for flight code and flight management.
- Work closely with hardware teams to support board bring-up and integration testing.
