Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an Embedded Software Development Engineer to join the Flight Computer Software team in Redmond, WA. You will develop embedded software in C++ and Rust for spaceborne systems, and collaborate with hardware teams on device drivers and system applications.

You will participate in all phases from requirements through test to operations, with the goal of reliable, power-efficient software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years design or architecture experience on new or existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C++, Rust, or other modern languages.
• Write software to interact with devices/electronics
• Write device drivers and system applications for the various satellite systems.
• Work closely with hardware teams to support board bring-up and integration testing.
