Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Logistics & Operations Specialist to serve as the primary operational liaison for end-to-end lifecycle of satellite, cellular, and cloud managed services. You will monitor service health, manage assets, and document processes to support warfighters.

The role emphasizes logistics, ITSM, and financial oversight with strong communication. You will handle incident management, asset control, and runbooks to ensure readiness and efficient transition of services.

Qualifications

• Logistics support requirements development and linking tasks across missions.
• ITSM principles with ITIL familiarity preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with financial oversight, budget monitoring, and cost management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; translate technical/financial data into actionable advice.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee incidents and performance metrics; manage the incident queue from initiation to resolution.
• Maintain CMDB for hardware including satellite dishes and SIM cards; perform regular audits.
• Track cloud consumption and bandwidth against budgets; prepare advisory reports for cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead stand-up of new services; coordinate vendor handoffs and validate deployment steps; maintain SOPs.
