Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Manager to lead end-to-end FI-CA design and delivery for utility clients. You will own the FI-CA workstream and align receivables, payments, and related financial controls with business policies.

You will lead functional teams across Finance, Revenue Operations, and Customer Care, driving solution quality, testing, deployment, and operational readiness. Travel up to 40-60% as needed.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with FI-CA, including 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U FI-CA design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U FI-CA workstream, including scope, target processes, and delivery plans.
• Define the functional design for receivables, payments, clearing, collections, dunning, and related controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analyses, and design reviews for scalable FI-CA solutions.
• Drive integration and reconciliation design across SAP IS-U and external systems.
• Establish FI-CA financial controls, posting and reconciliation processes.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies to align end-to-end utility processes.
• Develop functional specifications and documentation to ensure consistency.
• Coach FI-CA functional consultants and coordinate partners.
• Oversee testing and defect resolution for FI-CA processing.
• Lead cutover and production readiness activities.
• Build trusted client relationships and guidance on FI-CA capabilities.
