Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions for utility clients across the US. You will own the device and work management workstream, align SAP IS-U processes with metering and field operations, and drive solution quality, integration, testing, deployment, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Typically 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with hands-on Device/Work Management.
Experience owning SAP IS-U device/work management design and delivery through deployment.
Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS/EDM/GIS and related systems.

Responsibilities

Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery through post-go-live stabilization.
Define functional design for device lifecycle, meter reading, field service, and work execution.
Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analyses, and solution workshops.
Drive end-to-end integration with AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, and mobile platforms.
Oversee device and field-work processes, exception handling, and operational handoffs.
Govern cross-workstream dependencies and ensure alignment with billing and customer service.
Develop functional specifications, documentation, and configuration standards.
Coach functional consultants and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.
