Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions for utility clients. You will own the device/work management workstream, define the functional approach, and align SAP IS-U processes with metering and field operations.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Typically 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including hands-on Device Management and Work Management.
• Experience leading a functional workstream or team.
• Proven design and delivery ownership through implementation, testing, and stabilization.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, and mobile workforce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery through post-go-live stabilization.
• Define functional design for device lifecycle management, meter reading, field service, and operational controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, workshops, and design reviews.
• Ensure end-to-end integration with AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, and mobile platforms.
• Oversee device and field-work processes, including lifecycle, service orders, and exception handling.
• Coordinate cross-workstream dependencies and drive timely issue resolution.
