Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions for utility clients in the US. You will own the Device and Work Management workstream, align SAP IS-U processes with metering and field operations, and drive solution quality, integration, testing, deployment, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
Define and govern the functional design for device lifecycle management, meter reading, field service, work execution, and operational controls.
Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution workshops, and design reviews to translate utility requirements into actionable SAP IS-U designs.
Drive end-to-end integration across SAP IS-U and related platforms (AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, SAP Plant Maintenance, mobile workforce).
Oversee testing and defect resolution for meter-to-cash processes, field execution, and handoffs.
Manage scope, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder decisions with clear communication to leadership.
Lead cutover, training, production readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
