Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions for utility clients. You will own the Device and Work Management workstream, define the functional approach, align SAP IS-U with metering and field operations, and drive solution quality, integration, testing, deployment, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
4–6 years SAP IS-U/Utilities experience with device/work management exposure.
3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.
Experience designing SAP IS-U Device & Work Management solutions.
Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS/GIS and related systems.

Responsibilities

Own SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
Define and govern functional design for device lifecycle, meter reading, field service, and work execution.
Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, and design reviews translating utility needs into SAP IS-U designs.
Drive end-to-end integration with AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, SAP Plant Maintenance, and mobile workforce solutions.
Oversee device and field-work processes including lifecycle, meter reading, service orders, and exception handling.
Manage cross-workstream dependencies to align end-to-end utility processes.
Develop functional specs, documentation, configuration standards, and design decisions.
