Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions for utilities clients in the US. You will own the workstream, define the functional approach, align SAP IS-U with metering and field operations, and ensure operational readiness.

You will lead functional teams, drive integration with AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, and mobile workforce solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience.
• 3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.
• Proven experience owning SAP IS-U Device and Work Management design and delivery.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS, EDM, GIS and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream end-to-end.
• Define functional designs for device lifecycle, meter reading, and field work.
• Lead workshops, fit-gap analyses, and design reviews with stakeholders.
• Drive cross-system integration with AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS and more.
• Oversee testing, defect resolution, and cutover activities.
• Coach consultants and manage dependencies across workstreams.
• Ensure operational readiness and post-go-live stabilization.
