Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically, 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U Device and Work Management design and delivery through implementation, testing, and stabilization.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, SAP Plant Maintenance, and mobile workforce solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define and govern the functional design for device lifecycle management, meter reading, field service, and work execution.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, workshops, and design reviews translating requirements into scalable SAP IS-U solutions.
• Drive end-to-end integration across SAP IS-U and related platforms (AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, SAP Plant Maintenance, mobile workforce).
• Oversee testing and defect resolution for meter-to-cash processes, field completion, device and meter-reading scenarios, and operational handoffs.
• Coordinate cross-workstream dependencies and ensure alignment across end-to-end utility processes.
• Mentor functional consultants and coordinate vendor teams to resolve issues.
• Develop functional specifications and design decisions to ensure quality.
