Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager in the United States to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U solutions for utilities clients.

You will own the Device and Work Management workstream, define the functional approach, and align processes across metering and field operations, while guiding cross-functional teams and managing complex integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Proven experience owning SAP IS-U Device and Work Management design and delivery.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, and mobile workforce solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery through post-go-live.
• Define the functional design for device lifecycle, meter reading, field service, and operations controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analyses, solution workshops, and design reviews.
• Drive end-to-end integration across SAP IS-U and related platforms (AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, PM, mobile workforce).
• Lead device and field-work processes design, testing, cutover, and operational readiness.
• Coach functional consultants and coordinate vendor teams to resolve cross-workstream issues.
• Manage scope, estimates, risks, and stakeholder decisions; communicate options clearly.
