Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions. You will own the device and work management workstream, define the functional approach, and ensure alignment with metering and field operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• “4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including hands-on Device Management and Work Management.”
• “3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.”
• Experience owning SAP IS-U Device and Work Management design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, and mobile workforce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream, including scope, design decisions, delivery plans, quality, risks, and outcomes.
• Define functional design for device lifecycle management, meter reading, field service, and work execution.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, workshops, and design reviews.
• Drive end-to-end integration across SAP IS-U and related platforms (AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, PM, mobile workforce).
• Oversee device and field-work processes, including device lifecycle, meter reading, service orders, field execution, exception processing, and handoffs.
• Coordinate cross-workstream dependencies to align end-to-end utility processes.
