Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions for utilities clients. You will own the workstream, align device processes with metering and field operations, and guide teams across business, technical, vendor, and program stakeholders to ensure solution quality and readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Proven experience owning SAP IS-U Device & Work Management design & delivery across implementation, testing, and stabilization.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, and mobile workforce solutions.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define the functional design for device lifecycle management, meter reading, field service, and work execution.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, and design reviews translating utility needs into SAP IS-U solutions.
• Drive end-to-end integration with AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, and other core platforms.
• Oversee testing, defect resolution, and cutover activities for meter-to-cash processes.
• Coach functional consultants and coordinate with vendor and technical teams.
• Build documentation, configuration standards, and design decisions for the workstream.
