Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for US utilities. You will own the Billing workstream, translate rate, tariff, regulatory, and business requirements into scalable SAP IS-U designs, and collaborate with business, technical, and program stakeholders to drive solution quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with hands-on IS-U Billing.
• 3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.
• Proven experience owning SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream from design through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define target functional design for Billing and Invoicing, including rate/tariff structures and billing schemas.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, design governance, and workshops.
• Drive end-to-end integration with related SAP IS-U capabilities and modes across the bill-to-cash process.
• Lead the design of complex billing scenarios including time-of-use and interval-based billing.
• Develop functional specifications, documentation, and configuration standards.
• Lead and mentor functional team members and resolve cross-workstream issues.
• Oversee testing and defect resolution for rates, tariffs, billing cycles, and financials.
• Manage scope, estimates, risks, and stakeholder decisions; ensure operational readiness.
