Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a manager for Salvage Operations to oversee Recycling and E-waste activities in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on driving daily operations, team leadership and achieving short- and long-term goals in a community-focused retail environment.

Responsibilities include budgeting, pricing analysis, vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, while embodying Goodwill core values and supporting store teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid drivers license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assist with executing department operations plan to achieve targeted growth.
• Assist with monitoring product levels to meet sales targets.
• Ensure payroll and operating costs stay within budget.
• Develop relationships with shipping companies and salvage buyers.
• Support customer issue resolution and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with community partners to promote GCNA mission.
