Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is seeking a Manager of Material Recovery to oversee Salvage, Recycling, and E‑waste operations at our Phoenix facility. You will lead a team, coordinate daily activities, and drive results aligned with store and mission goals.

You will build partnerships with carriers and buyers, manage costs, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while representing Goodwill’s values in the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years’ work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

• Oversee Salvage, Recycling, and E-waste operations.
• Lead the team and drive daily operations to meet goals.
• Maintain relationships with shipping companies and salvage buyers.
