Job summary

Belk is seeking a Salon Retail Coordinator to manage the front desk operations at our Charlotte-area salon. You will greet guests, handle scheduling, process POS transactions, and promote retail products and services to enhance the guest experience.

As the first point of contact, you will maintain a polished appearance, ensure compliance with state regulations, and coordinate with the Salon Manager to meet client needs and sales goals.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Proficient with computer-based business software.
• Able to handle money and make change.
• Customer service or cosmetics industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Client Sales and Service responsibilities: upsell retail, promote products and services, handle complaints professionally.
• Telephone/Reception responsibilities: answer calls and schedule appointments with a smile and clear identification of the salon location.
• Salon and Personal Presentation responsibilities: maintain a clean reception area and adhere to dress code.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services and coordinate with management to meet sales goals.
