Job summary

Belk is seeking a Salon Retail Coordinator to manage front desk operations and support the Salon Manager. The role emphasizes outstanding guest service and efficient multi-tasking in a fast-paced salon environment.

You will upsell retail products, cross-sell services, handle bookings and POS transactions, and ensure the reception area meets state board standards. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer software skills, and exceptional communication to help guests

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Proficient with business software.
• Ability to handle money and make change.
• Customer service or cosmetic industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients within 60 seconds of entering the salon.
• Answer phones within three rings and state salon location.
• Manage scheduling, cancellations, and re-scheduling of appointments.
• Process POS transactions efficiently.
• Upsell retail products and promote services.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area.
• Coordinate with salon management and staff.
• Meet client needs by adjusting schedules.
