The role emphasizes leadership, training, and maintaining PetSmart’s standards while partnering with store leadership to grow salon sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years grooming experience; may be asked to complete a technical exam.
• Full time availability required, flexibility in schedule, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with tools, equipment and products to perform grooming work safely.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead salon team development through training and coaching.
• Identify candidates for academy training to become stylists.
• Manage daily salon tasks and ensure policy compliance.
• Upsell salon services and drive salon sales with store goals.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and humane pet handling.
