Cognizant is seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce applications and integrations across the enterprise. You will join the Quality Engineering team and collaborate with Salesforce Developers, BAs, and Product Owners to deliver defect-free solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience testing Salesforce platforms.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, custom objects, fields, layouts, and security.
• Experience configuring Salesforce environments with profiles, roles and permission sets.
• Proven expertise in test automation using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
• Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs and third-party integrations (Postman).
• Proficiency in test planning, test case design, regression testing and defect management.
• Experience validating data using SOQL and SQL queries.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies for Salesforce apps, integrations, and business processes.
• Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
• Validate Salesforce configurations including objects, fields, components, workflows and security.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, API and integration testing for releases.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Test REST and SOAP API integrations and validate end-to-end data flows.
• Analyze test results, track defects and provide quality metrics and improvement recommendations.
