Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce apps and integrations across the enterprise. You will join the Quality Engineering team and collaborate with developers, BAs, and product owners to deliver defect-free solutions.

Responsibilities include designing test strategies, building automated tests with Selenium WebDriver in Java or Python, validating Salesforce configurations, and performing API and integration testing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years testing Salesforce platforms including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Strong Salesforce architecture knowledge: custom objects, fields, Lightning, security.
• Experience configuring Salesforce environments: profiles, roles, permission sets, flows.
• Proven Selenium WebDriver automation in Java or Python.
• Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations via Postman.
• Solid test planning, design, regression testing, and defect management.
• Experience with SOQL and SQL for data validation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies for Salesforce applications, integrations, and business processes.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
• Validate Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, fields, Lightning components, workflows, and security settings.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, API, and integration testing to ensure successful releases.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects throughout the SDLC.
• Test REST and SOAP API integrations and validate end-to-end data flows across connected systems.
• Analyze test results, track defects, and provide quality metrics and recommendations for continuous improvement.
