Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer in the United States to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce applications and integrations across the enterprise. You will design test strategies, develop automated tests with Selenium WebDriver in Java or Python, and validate Salesforce configurations such as objects, fields, and Lightning components.

This remote role offers collaboration with cross-functional teams and opportunities to contribute to continuous quality

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on experience testing Salesforce platforms.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture and security models.
Proven test automation experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java or Python).

Responsibilities

Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for Salesforce applications, integrations, and business processes.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java or Python.
Validate Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, fields, Lightning components, workflows, and security settings.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, API, and integration testing to ensure successful releases.
Collaborate with development and business teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
Test REST and SOAP API integrations and validate end-to-end data flows across connected systems.
Analyze test results, track defects, and provide quality metrics and recommendations for continuous improvement.
