Job summary

Cognizant in the United States is seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce applications and integrations across the enterprise ecosystem. You will collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, defect-free solutions.

You will design test strategies for Salesforce applications and integrations, develop automated scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience testing Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, custom objects, fields, page layouts, Lightning components, and user security models.
• Experience configuring Salesforce environments, including profiles, roles, permission sets, and flow automations.
• Proven expertise in test automation using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
• Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs and third-party integrations using tools such as Postman.
• Strong knowledge of test planning, test case design, regression testing, and defect management.
• Experience validating data using SOQL and SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for Salesforce applications, integrations, and business processes.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java or Python.
• Validate Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, fields, Lightning components, workflows, and security settings.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, API, and integration testing to ensure successful releases.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Test REST and SOAP API integrations and validate end-to-end data flows across connected systems.
• Analyze test results, track defects, and provide quality metrics and recommendations for continuous improvement.
