Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer to ensure quality and reliability of Salesforce applications and integrations across the enterprise. You will collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver defect-free solutions.

In this remote-possible role based in the United States, you will design test strategies, develop automated tests with Selenium WebDriver in Java or Python, validate configurations, and perform API

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience testing Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, custom objects, fields, page layouts, Lightning components, and user security models.
• Experience configuring Salesforce environments, including profiles, roles, permission sets, and flow automations.
• Proven expertise in test automation using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
• Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs and third-party integrations using tools such as Postman.
• Strong knowledge of test planning, test case design, regression testing, and defect management.
• Experience validating data using SOQL and SQL queries.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies for Salesforce applications, integrations, and business processes.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
• Validate Salesforce configurations including custom objects, fields, Lightning components, and security settings.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, API, and integration testing for releases.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects across the lifecycle.
• Test REST and SOAP API integrations and ensure end-to-end data flows.
