Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer to ensure the quality and performance of Salesforce applications and integrations across the enterprise. You will join the Quality Engineering team and collaborate with Salesforce Developers, BAs, and Product Owners to deliver defect-free solutions.

You will design test strategies for Salesforce apps, automate tests with Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python), validate configurations, and perform API and integration testing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience testing Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, custom objects, fields, and security models.
• Experience configuring Salesforce environments, roles, profiles, and flow automations.
• Proven expertise in test automation using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
• Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs and third-party integrations using Postman.
• Strong knowledge of test planning, design, regression testing, and defect management.
• Experience validating data using SOQL and SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies for Salesforce applications, integrations, and business processes.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java or Python.
• Validate Salesforce configurations, including objects, fields, and Lightning components.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, API, and integration testing for releases.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
• Test REST and SOAP API integrations and validate end-to-end data flows across systems.
• Analyze test results, track defects, and provide quality metrics and recommendations for improvement.
