Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team is seeking an early-career Salesforce-focused software engineer to build, test, configure, and support GB360 Sales capabilities on Sales Cloud, with emphasis on pipelines, Book of Business views, and seller productivity.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevSecOps to deliver secure Salesforce solutions, applying configuration-first approaches and responsible AI tools under senior guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year in software development, Salesforce development, or related delivery work.
• Experience developing, testing, or supporting software, CRM, or SaaS solutions.
• Exposure to Salesforce concepts: Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, APIs.
• Understanding Salesforce security, profiles, permissions, and data access.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe, story refinement, sprint execution, and releases.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, configure, and support Salesforce-based GB360 Sales capabilities.
• Support Sales Cloud, opportunity workflows, pipeline processes, and Book of Business views.
• Apply configuration-first thinking; minimize customizations where possible.
• Assist with user stories, estimates, technical notes, and release docs.
• Support integrations with Data Hubs, Seismic, underwriting, and related systems.
• Use AI-assisted tools with human review for analysis, testing, and documentation.
• Participate in SAFe/Agile rituals and peer reviews of code and designs.
• Develop and execute unit tests; assist with system/integration testing and UAT.
• Assist with production support, incident investigations, and performance tuning.
