Job summary

MetLife's Global Technology team is seeking a Senior Developer, Sales Technology to design, develop, test, and support Salesforce.com capabilities for the GB360 Service delivery team. This hands-on role focuses on Service Cloud, case management, and sales-service collaboration, with integrations across enterprise data, content, and analytics.

You will partner with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevSecOps, and vendors to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions, using

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience designing, building, testing, and supporting enterprise applications, platforms, or CRM solutions.
• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or comparable Salesforce CRM capabilities.
• Experience developing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning technologies, Flows, platform automation, Salesforce data model, and Salesforce APIs.
• Understanding of Salesforce security model and data access controls.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, Bulk APIs, event-based patterns, middleware, ETL/ELT, or enterprise integration platforms.
• Experience in Agile/SAFe delivery teams and production support handoff.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering or productivity tools within the lifecycle.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support Salesforce-based GB360 Service capabilities using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and APIs.
• Build and maintain Service Cloud and case-management capabilities to support service workflows and Book of Business needs.
• Translate business needs into technical stories, estimates, design options, and implementation plans with stakeholders.
• Apply configuration-first thinking to minimize customization while ensuring secure, scalable development.
• Design and support integrations with enterprise data and workflow platforms.
• Participate in SAFe/Agile ceremonies and release planning for GB360 Service.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, design, testing, and release preparation.
• Perform peer reviews of Salesforce code, configurations, and deployment plans.
• Develop and execute unit tests, support automated testing, and assist with UAT.
