Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team invites you to join a forward-looking group delivering Salesforce-based GB360 Service capabilities. As a Senior Developer, Sales Technology, you will design, develop, test, and support Service Cloud workflows, case management, and Book of Business, collaborating with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and vendors.

You will apply AI-assisted engineering practices within Salesforce guardrails, participate in SAFe ceremonies, and drive secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience designing, building, testing, and supporting enterprise applications or CRM solutions.
• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or similar.
• Experience developing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning, Flows, APIs, and platform automation.
• Understanding of Salesforce security model, data access controls, and authentication concepts.
• Experience designing or supporting integrations using REST, SOAP, or middleware.
• Experience in Agile/SAFe delivery teams and release readiness practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering or productivity tools in the software lifecycle.
• Strong collaboration, communication, analytical thinking, problem solving, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support Salesforce-based GB360 Service capabilities using Apex, LWCs, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, APIs, and automation.
• Build and maintain Service Cloud and case-management capabilities supporting workflows, Book of Business, and productivity.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevSecOps, and vendors to translate business needs into technical stories and plans.
• Apply configuration-first thinking to minimize customization while ensuring secure, scalable development.
• Design and support integrations with Data Hubs, Seismic, underwriting, pricing, MetIQ, and analytics.
• Participate in SAFe and Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate analysis, coding, testing, and release readiness with human review.
• Perform peer reviews of Salesforce code, configuration, and release materials to ensure quality.
