Job summary

Meier Agency is seeking a Sales Trainer to lead in-field initiatives and build a personal client portfolio while advancing toward leadership. You will conduct hands-on sales training, mentor new hires, and collaborate with Sales Managers to tailor effective programs.

The role blends field sales with instructional leadership in a fast-growing agency. The ideal candidate will have CRM experience, a strong communication ability, and a willingness to obtain an insurance license.

Qualifications

• Experience using sales-related software (CRM) preferred.
• Willingness to learn about insurance industry and obtain license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be a good communicator able to analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience in customer service is beneficial.
• Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage your book of business through cold calling and client engagement.
• Develop and implement training programs tailored for different teams and individuals.
• Conduct engaging training sessions for new hires and seasoned reps.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to assess training needs and strategies.
• Evaluate training effectiveness with feedback, metrics, and performance assessments.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to new sales representatives.
• Mentor and coach new hires to help them grow their skills.
