Job summary

Meier Agency is seeking a Sales Trainer to lead field training and build your own portfolio, with progression toward leadership while continuing in the field. You will conduct training sessions, coach reps, and drive performance improvements across the sales team.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, collaboration with managers, and a focus on rapid skill elevation within a fast-growing insurance environment. A license will be pursued as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with sales-related software is beneficial (CRM).
• Willingness to learn about the insurance industry and obtain a license; program and regulatory training may be provided.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be a good communicator and able to analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; customer service experience helpful.
• Candidates must have or be willing to obtain Health & Life insurance license.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage your own book of business by cold calling small to medium businesses.
• Develop and implement practical sales training programs for teams and individuals.
• Lead engaging training sessions for new hires and seasoned reps.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to assess training needs and plan strategies.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics and adjust as needed.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to new sales representatives.
• Mentor and coach new hires to help them navigate roles and grow.
