No prior experience is required as mentorship and paid training are provided to help you grow into a confident sales professional.

You will learn CarMax inventory, financing processes, and the full sales cycle while delivering an honest, transparent experience and developing customer trust that supports store goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service in retail or similar environments is preferred.
• Strong listening and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfort with technology for processing transactions and inventory access.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding vehicles that fit their needs using CarMax inventory knowledge.
• Guide customers through the process including appraisals, test drives, and financing applications.
• Deliver an exceptional experience by listening actively and providing clear, honest information.
• Complete accurate documentation for all transactions to ensure a smooth process.
• Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and store goals.
• Maintain a professional, customer-first approach and stay informed about CarMax products, services, and promotions.
