Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits is seeking a Sales Trainee to learn SGWS products, sales processes, and customer consultative selling. You will support senior sales staff and the Area Sales Manager in servicing and selling to customers in Columbia, MO.

The role emphasizes building relationships, preplanning visits, and identifying growth opportunities while leveraging SGWS technology and CRM tools. Candidates should be adaptable, communicative, portfolio-aware, and travel-ready to meet

Qualifications

• State Sales Permit required; ability to analyze data.
• Leverage SGWS technology to perform duties.
• Able to build and structure customer presentations and product proposals.
• Proficient with mobile devices and online communication.
• Able to achieve results in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Strong communication and audience-tailored messaging.
• Team player; collaborates effectively.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Minimum age of 21 with High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, credible customer relationships based on trust.
• Preplan account visits with an agenda and selling opportunities.
• Discover and identify customer growth needs and develop plans.
• Analyze data to increase sales and grow customer business.
• Maintain knowledge of SGWS products and present them effectively.
• Document and maintain account information in CRM.
• Attend sales meetings, trainings, and supplier events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
