Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to assist a sales team with customer orders, provide product information, and support account maintenance. You will liaise across departments and manage daily clerical tasks, data entry, and reporting.

The role includes ensuring timely order processing and strong customer service relationships. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in sales support, AA degree (Bachelor's preferred), and strong Excel/Word skills.

Qualifications

• AA degree required, Bachelor’s preferred.
• At least 5 years of direct, related sales support experience.
• Experience in data entry, scheduling production and tracking orders.
• Excellent communication via phone, email and written form.
• Strong problem solving, customer service and organizational skills.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sales accounts and provide technical and administrative product information.
• Monitor inventory and follow up ETA with purchasers.
• Liaise between sales, purchasing, production, procurement and logistics.
• Coordinate intra-company projects between sales and non‑sales departments.
• Enter, monitor and communicate order status with clients; handle credit issues and returns.
• Develop positive customer relationships and produce daily client reports.
• Provide back-up support for supervisor and team members.
