Job summary

Supermicro's Sales Support team is looking to add a dynamic Sales Support Specialist to assist one of our Sales teams in managing customers and their orders. The role also serves as a liaison across internal departments and provides product information to customers while supporting account maintenance and data entry.

Responsibilities include processing orders, monitoring status, coordinating with Sales, Purchasing, Production, Procurement and Logistics, delivering daily client reports, and

Qualifications

• AA degree is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of direct, related sales support experience.
• Experience in data entry, scheduling production and tracking orders.
• Strong professional communication skills including phone, written email and presentations.
• Customer service experience with direct client interaction and problem solving.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding responsibilities.
• Strong computer skills with Word and Excel; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Sales account maintenance, provide technical and administrative product information, perform daily clerical tasks and data entry.
• Monitor inventory and follow up ETA with purchasers.
• Act as a liaison between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics.
• Provide intra-company project coordination between sales and non-sales departments.
• Enter, monitor, and communicate order status with clients, assist with credit issues and returns.
• Develop strong customer service relationships with prospects.
• Produce daily reports for clients.
• Provide back-up support for the supervisor and team members.
• Carry out additional duties per supervisor's request.
