Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to help customers identify products and turn home improvement ideas into reality. You will share product knowledge and provide friendly, expert guidance throughout the store.

You’ll engage customers, answer questions, and support sales with pricing, promotions, and financing options across multiple departments, contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• One year of customer-facing sales or six months Lowe’s retail experience.
• One year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance.
• Obtain sales-related licensure if required by law; Lowe's will support and fund this.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide estimates, schedule visits, process and track orders, and ensure project completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to restock.
• Perform price reviews according to pricing policies and maintain pricing/documentation.
• Assist at checkout and respond to department requests for assistance.
• Train associates in the department through on-the-job coaching.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
