Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to be one of the first faces customers meet, helping them find products and turn ideas into reality. You will become a product expert, discussing specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You will work in an assigned department (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, etc.), thriving in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for bonus and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail, or 3 years external sales if no Lowe’s education met.
• 1 year in sales or customer service with sales goals.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or >25 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating Lowe's product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department and manage orders/installations.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to maintain stock.
• Perform price reviews according to pricing policies and maintain pricing docs.
• Support all checkout functions and department requests.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
