Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand home improvement needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You’ll work across departments, share product knowledge, and contribute to achieving sales goals in a fast-paced environment.

Role involves active customer interaction, product expertise, and collaboration with teams to ensure a smooth shopping experience. Part-time position with growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience; or 3 years external sales if education not met.
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals/metrics.
• Must read, write and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by identifying needs and explaining Lowe’s products.
• Serve as a department contact for customers and vendors; provide estimates and schedule installers.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors to restock.
• Support checkout and store operations; assist customers as needed.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
