Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to be the first point of contact for customers in-store, helping them identify products and translate ideas into real projects.

You'll become a product expert, explain specs, promotions and financing options to close sales, and deliver exceptional service while supporting store operations and team goals.

You may work in various departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, and more, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or equivalent external experience).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with goals or metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Be a point of contact for customers and vendors in your department, managing quotes, installations, orders, and follow-ups.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock/replacements.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Assist checkout/functions and train associates on the sales floor.
