Job Description

The Recruiter is responsible for Service Excellence throughout the recruitment cycle. They act as a brand ambassador for the client, focused on delivering exceptional talent while providing proactive and timely communication on the status of the search. They serve as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition and provide consultative direction and industry expertise to hiring leaders.

Work Location: USA
Work Arrangement: Full remote
Work Schedule: 8am-5pm EST (flexible)
Specific requirements: Sales Recruiter with at least 3 years of experience in the Life Science industry is required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Finding Candidates: Lead detailed job scope meetings with hiring leaders, determine position specifications, and provide market data and recommendations.
  2. Review candidates who applied via ATS.
  3. Evaluate candidate qualifications against requirements and decide who advances in the process.
  4. Develop and manage sourcing plans to identify the most suitable candidate sources.
  5. Source candidates using resume databases, search engines, and networking sites with Boolean search techniques.
  6. Seek referrals from networks and internal sources.
  7. Utilize proprietary software for mobile and email campaigns to talent communities.
  8. Engage candidates using various media (phone, email, social media).
  9. Communicate the value proposition to interested candidates.
  10. Prepare candidates for interviews, including logistical details and expectations.
  11. Provide timely updates to candidates regarding their application status.
  12. Assess candidates through phone interviews, skills testing, and background checks as needed.
  13. Partner with hiring leaders on offer details, using market data and guidelines.
  14. Articulate job offers and negotiate as needed.
  15. Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
  16. Build and maintain talent pipelines for continuous candidate availability.
  17. Report recruiting activities regularly to stakeholders.
  18. Identify and address recruitment challenges proactively.
  19. Communicate regularly with hiring leaders, offering strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in business, management, human resources, or related fields is preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of recruiting experience in the Life Science industry, in corporate, RPO, or agency settings, with success in using ATS and social media tools.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Boolean sourcing techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and talent acquisition metrics.

The starting salary range is $50,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and location. Benefits include various medical plans, STD, LTD, HSA, holiday pay, flexible PTO, 401K with match, and Volunteer Time Off (VTO).
