Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Sales Admin / Coordinator to engage with customers, coordinate pre- and post-sale activities, and process quotes into orders. You will support account managers and SE/ISEs, manage internal data, and ensure timely delivery of commitments.

Ideal candidates have strong MS Office and CRM skills, plus business acumen and excellent communication. Some experience in sales processes is preferred, with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Under 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
• Business acumen and understanding of sales processes.
• Understanding of UL products/services relevant to the role.
• Experience managing internal systems and data sources.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.
• English proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages with customers via telephone or electronic inquiries to address inquiries and admin-related activities.
• Coordinates pre- and post-sale actions to ensure customers meet TIC certification requirements and product/service adoption timelines.
• Develops and shares quotes using standardized pricing tools under supervision.
• Processes quotes into orders using ERP; follows up on orders as needed.
• Supports account managers and SE/ISEs with admin-related tasks.
• Connects customers to UL personnel (Account Manager, SEs/ISEs, delivery teams, engineers) when appropriate.
• Tracks account history and supply data to inform account opportunities.
• Collaborates with internal resources to resolve inquiries and ensure clear customer messaging.
• Provides input to sales strategy based on customer relationships and needs.
• Builds internal UL problem-solving networks to anticipate problems and improve delivery.
• Meets established timelines for pre- and post-sales activities.
• Works with a moderate degree of supervision.
• Performs other duties as directed.
