Job summary

La-Z-Boy Inc. is seeking a results-driven Sales Associate to drive furniture sales through exceptional customer service and in-depth product knowledge. You will promote the Design program, assist Designers, and guide customers from needs discovery to closing.

A strong focus on creating lasting relationships and delivering a premium shopping experience is required. You will follow the La-Z-Boy selling process, schedule home consultations, maintain displays, and support promotions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence
• Proven ability to close sales
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through exceptional service and knowledge of La-Z-Boy products
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to reach goals
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process: needs discovery, objections, closing, follow-up
• Schedule and conduct professional home consultations to design spaces
• Maintain store displays and product knowledge, support store promotions and events
• Ensure accurate order information and efficient customer records and payments
