Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Myrtle Beach seeks a motivated sales associate to drive furniture sales and deliver exceptional customer service. You will promote the Design program, assist designers, and follow La-Z-Boy selling processes to create lasting customer relationships.

Training pay is $15 per hour for 2-6 weeks with no commissions; post-training base pay is $11/hour plus uncapped commission (2%–6%) and a potential quarterly bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate, build rapport, and influence.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to learn La-Z-Boy selling process.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services offered by La-Z-Boy.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve sales goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a favorable customer experience.
• Develop and utilize sales skills including needs discovery, portfolio presentations, objections handling, and closing.
• Maximize store promotions and grassroots programs.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and features.
