Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Hoover, AL is seeking a sales associate to drive store sales through knowledgeable product information and superior customer service. You will promote the Design program, assist designers, and follow the La-Z-Boy selling process to build lasting customer relationships.

Training pay starts at $15/hour for 2-6 weeks, with future earnings potential between $55,000 and $75,000+ annually from base pay plus commissions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; strong communication and customer service skills.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist Designer in achieving sales goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a positive customer experience.
• Develop sales skills including discovery, objections handling, closing and follow-up.
