Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Sales Associate to join our Barboursville store, driving furniture and services sales while delivering exceptional customer service and promoting the Design program. You will help build long-term client relationships and leverage product knowledge to meet sales goals.

Training pay is $16 per hour for 2-6 weeks (no commissions). After training, expected earnings range from $35,000 to $55,000+ annually, including base pay, bonuses, and commissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve Design program sales goals.
• Consistently execute the La‑Z‑Boy selling process and provide a positive customer experience.
• Develop and utilize sales techniques including needs discovery, portfolios, objections, closing and follow-up.
